A considerable leap forward for Bowman with this 252 card set. The cards are line drawed from a picture--very nice. The first 72 cards are considered scarce compared to the rest of the set. This has been a particularly tough set to complete as the Ashburns seem to be in bad shape and the nicer ones have been graded (I do not buy graded cards). Once again the Roberts and Ashburn cards will run a few bucks while the other cards are fairly inexpensive to pick up. A very nice looking set and as with the 48 and 49 sets, the cards are relatively small compared to later efforts or what we may be used to in card size.
